Artwork Part of ‘Chaos‘ (Issue 21)
The Science
There are many examples of how the micro universe mimics the macro universe, from particle attraction to planetary gravity. The physical forces and cosmic constraints of our world cannot be ignored despite our efforts to outlive or outlast them. Visually, for example, a close-up of cancer cells in the brain can be likened to planets or meteors in outer space. In this particular piece, a close-up of miniscule ice crystals gathering around the vent hole of an airplane window appears to me like the debris and chaos gathering around a black hole.
The Medium
This piece is a close-up photograph taken with my Canon DSLR 5000 that I have digitally enhanced with ACDSee. I never use Photoshop, or AI.
