What's Entropy?

Chloe Trotter

Artwork part of ‘Entropy’ Issue 8

The Science

This artwork is done in the style of a short comic that is designed to explain the common social meaning of entropy in a visual manner. This type of Entropy is understood as being the measurable property of randomness, disorder and degradation.  Within the comic, two figures question 'what's entropy' and begin to degrade into a random arrangement of parts. It ends with an empty background representing the lack of information given by a highly entropied system.
